Child Care Waitlist
Join the waitlist for Salmonberry Child Care Centre and Salmon Stone Child Care Centre.
Please submit the form below to have your child or children added to the waitlist for Salmonberry Child Care Centre and Salmon Stone Child Care Centre. You can join the waitlist for one centre or both.
Programs
Salmon Stone
- Infant, 0 to 18 months
- Toddler, 18 months to 3 years
- 3 to 5 years old
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Salmonberry
- Toddler, 18 months to 3 years
- 3 to 5 years old
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
How our waitlist works
Our waitlist is not first come, first served. Priority for spaces is given to families we serve in the neighbourhood and to those we can offer long-term service to, in the following order:
- Children currently enrolled in an SVNH child care or family program
- Children with a sibling enrolled in an SVNH child care or family program
- Families living or working in the neighbourhood
- Salmon Stone: families living or working in West Fraserlands, south of Marine Way and east of Victoria Drive to Boundary Road
- Salmonberry: families living or working in Sunset, Ontario Street to Knight Street and 41st Avenue to the Fraser River
- Families living or working in Vancouver
We also keep a balance of children’s ages, so that children can move from the Infant Program to the Toddler Program, and from the Toddler Program to the 3 to 5 Program. This can affect the order in which spaces are offered. If your child does not meet the age requirement for a space, they stay on the waitlist for future spaces.
The first round of registration opens four months before the program start date, and continues in rounds after that.
Once you submit the form you will see a confirmation on screen. That means your child is on the waitlist. We do not send an email confirmation.
