Our pre-teen and youth programs build confidence, encourage socialization, and leadership skills. Through art, play, science, nature, cooking and education, our programs and team provide catered support and the building blocks for development.

A community leadership program where youth create and coordinate events and workshops based on the trends and needs of their peers. Past projects include: Gingerbread House competition, movie nights and #NYITakeover on Instagram!
United Way Summer School’s Out is a free program for preteens in Kindergarten to Grade 7. Come join us to get to know your community better, meet new friends and develop your leadership skills through fun activities realting to art, culture, music, community, nature, literacy and more. We are looking for volunteers to support the delivery and faiclitation of program.
Newcomer Summer Camp is a free program for newcomer kids in Grade K – 7. Kids will be doing: 🎨 Art & Craft Activities 🎠Games, Group Activities & Sports 🧠Creative Learning Experiences 🎉 Fun, Friendship & Confidence Building
This is a free 2 day workshop for parents and child who is transitioning to Grade 8 by exploring expectation, school supports and ways parents can support their teens in learning and well-being. Families will gain practical tips, resources and guidance to help youth feel confident and ready for high school success.
